HOW TO SET BLACK MARK & PRINT MEDIA TYPE & PRINTING MODE ? [GP-16xxx/11xxx/12xxx SERIES]

Part 1. Thermal Transfer Printing on Black Mark Paper

 

(1) Install Windows Driver for your label printer, eg.: Gprinter GP-1624T

(2) Restore factory settings if necessary.

(3) Find Printing Preferences to set printing mode and paper specification etc.

Page Setup:Width: as peractual width.

 Length: the gap distance between two black marks

Media type:Labels with black marks

Print Options:  Speed:  102mm/s or others you wish to test

Darkness:  8 or others you wish to test

Printing mode: Thermal transfer

 Please click OK to confirm above settings.

 

 

 

(4) Load ribbon and black mark paper into the label printer.

   The side with black mark shall be downwards. Move the gap sensor to touch/cover blackmark paper.

   Move black mark sensor to the middle to make sure paper will pass over the black mark sensor.

And pay attention that the black mark sensor shall be away from the hole of the paper if there is.

 

 

(5) Open NiceLabel designer to design a label and print it out.

 

 

 

Part 2. Thermal Transfer Printing on Label Paper With Gap

 

(1) Install Windows Driver for your label printer, eg.: Gprinter GP-1624T

(2) Restore factory settings if necessary.

(3) Find Printing Preferences to set printing mode and paper specification etc.

     Page Setup:    Width: as per actual width.

                             Length: as per actual length, not including gap size

                             Media type: Labels with gaps

                             Gap size: as per actual size

     Print Options:  Speed:  102mm/s or others you wish to test

                             Darkness:  8 or others you wish to test

                             Printing mode:  Thermal transfer

     Please click OK to confirm above settings.

 

 

 

(4) If your printer with auto cutter, and you want to cut labels in whole batch or in 100pcs/500pcs /1000pcs different batchs. You can go to “Device Options” to set up as per your need. And please click OK to confirm your settings.

Remark:GP-16xx series does not use linerless cutter, the regular/care label cutters DO NOT cut on media with glue.

 

 

(5) Load the labels and ribbon into the printer.

(6) Open NiceLabel designer to design a label and print it out.

 

 

Part 3. Thermal Transfer Printing on Continuous Label Paper

 

(1) Install Windows Driver for your label printer, eg.: Gprinter GP-1624T

(2) Restore factory settings if necessary.

(3) Find Printing Preferences to set printing mode and paper specification etc.

   Page Setup:    Width: as per actual width.

                           Length: as per actual length, not including gap size

                           Media type: Continuous labels

                           Gap size:0

Print Options:  Speed:  102mm/s or others you wish to test

                        Darkness:  8 or others you wish to test

                        Printing mode:  Thermal transfer

Please click OK to confirm above settings.

 

 

 

(4) Load the labels and ribbon into the printer.

(5) Open NiceLabel designer to design a label and print it out.

 

 

Part 3. Direct Thermal Printing on Continuous Label Paper

 

(1) Install Windows Driver for your label printer, eg.: Gprinter GP-1624T

(2) Restore factory settings if necessary.

(3) Find Printing Preferences to set printing mode and paper specification etc.

    Page Setup:    Width: as per actual width.

                            Length: as per actual length, not including gap size

                            Media type: Continuous labels

                            Gap size:0

Print Options:  Speed:  102mm/s or others you wish to test

                        Darkness:  8 or others you wish to test

                        Printing mode:  Direct Thermal

Please click OK to confirm above settings.

 

 

 

(4) Load the labels into the printer, NO NEED RIBBON.

Open NiceLabel designer to design a label and print it out.
